Landscape Design
Much of our design work is for local authority clients. We have a 30 year long track record of working across numerous important public open spaces, firstly within a major London-based private practice then for Groundwork, undertaking environmental regeneration in the third sector. We have continued a particular specialism in historic landscapes at our own private practice in Dorset and have worked extensively at Grade 1 Listed Highcliffe Castle in Christchurch, and at Durlston Castle, with its rich mix of environmental and heritage designations. Many of our schemes, including these two, have been funded via the National Heritage Lottery Fund, with a contract value ranging from £160k up to £600k.
Our practice is run by a Chartered Landscape Architect and our Practice is registered with the Landscape Institute. Landscape design, whether large or small scale, remains our core interest. We’re happy to discuss involvement in schemes both locally and further afield, whether it’s developing initial proposals or providing detailed design and support throughout an implementation stage.

“Aileen’s practice was of great assistance in drawing up our landscape and play plans for our Heritage Lottery Parks for People woodland project. The tracking of the project allowed us to complete on budget and on time. Now 3 years later the landscape has bedded in and the play features are a great hit.”
