AILEEN SHACKELL LANDSCAPE DESIGN

Garden Design

We are experienced designers who enjoy working with people to make the most of their gardens. These often have to meet a multitude of needs: perhaps including child-friendly ‘playable’ space, alongside peaceful, quiet areas, and also being wildlife friendly.

We work on gardens large and small: past projects have included work at the extensive Highcliffe Castle grounds but our smallest scheme remodelled a tiny courtyard garden in Bridport for a local charity. We can help home-owners who have just moved in and are not sure what to do, or know what’s growing there, or those who have some ideas, but aren’t sure how to implement them.

We can provide anything from just an initial advisory visit with follow-up notes through to a garden survey or planting plan, or even a full design proposal for the whole garden. If appropriate, we can prepare plans and a schedule of work for suitable local landscaping companies to price up the proposals and then carry out any work on site. We offer a free initial visit for a preliminary discussion within a 15 mile or so radius of Bridport but are happy to travel further afield too, and charge a mileage rate.

Do contact us for more information or to see if we are able to help.
